Is this thread for Open Weeks (yearly events) or just the usual opens that are on every week? I'll assume Club Open Events.

Either, if your club has a specific open/festival etc week then by all means post it here too.

Basically its to allow people to "advertise" their clubs without having multiple threads and people spamming.

There is some event on in Claremorris golf club tomorrow Sat 20th, you can find details through claremorris chamber as the golf clubs website doesn't appear to be working (apologies mods if that's against charter).

Athlone's Lough Ree Festival of Golf taking place in 2 weeks time. It's our open week in July/August basically that we have each year. Competitions on from Sunday the 28th of July to Monday 5th of August. Entry for visitors in each competition is €15 i believe.

Also Preceeding this we have our club classic fund raiser. teams of 4, mens, ladies or mixed. Course in great shape and for 25 quid its a great opportunity to come play a great competition, with excellent prizes ( ipads and other electronic goods on offer as prizes ) on a fantastic golf course! The scenery is out of this world!

Moate Golf Club's Annual Fundraising Classic is on last weekend in August (Fri-Sun). Team of 4 is just €100 for golf only or €140 inc food. Lots of prizes.
