PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

Glad it's not a problem for UK & Ireland.

Imagine Amazon giving you a 29th of December delivery estimate, only for it to be revised to December 14th at this late stage, and not warning you when choosing a bundle that one of them would take 2 weeks extra (especially now, when we're locked into the choice!).

I'd actually go mental at them. Stupid that there is panic being caused for no reason.

1st quarter of 2014, it needs a adapter to use them, which has been delayed.

2014 when the 2.5mm to new proprietary jack comes out. All the ONE headsets bar MS won't be using the new MS connection, that's why there's no 3rd party headsets that will work.

Nothing about that. It was via twitter, just said they were happy to announce the fulfilment of all pre orders up to the end of August.

Yeah they said as well that there would be a shortage of Solus consoles and that they were getting more bundles than Solus versions.

They were contacting people a few weeks ago about upgrading. I upgraded to the Mega Bundle on the 1st day they were available I think. You should call in to see what the story is.

Edit: Just checked, it was exactly one month ago, the 7th October.

They actually changed the tweet, it now says

And can guarantee that most preorders up to the end of August will in fact be getting one for Launch day now

Good luck with that, was told something completely different in store today by the manager and another staff member before the manager came in, he is a friend and has no reasons to lie to me, they are only interested in getting as many of those €20 as they can and then turn around and say they have stock shortage, nothing anyone can do when they say that, either wait or lose the money.

They can make all the promises they want on twitter, that is ran by their sales and marketing team, ask about it in store especially if you know some people who work there and you will get a different set of answers, in the end of the day they can take as many pre orders as they like and as long as the person eventually gets one, they can not be held liable, stock shortage will be the buzz word in the stores after launch for a few months.

jesus if they done it on me id torture them im shour there is alot of people like me that just dont give a **** id wreck there shop in a heartbeat

Staff in Gamestop store said you can cancel your pre-order and get your deposit back if you don't get it on launch day.

Manager in GameStop William St Limerick said theyre getring 140 consoles for launch.
Able to fufill orders placed until july 15th. All after are being shipped into batch 2.

Another approx 200 expeced in store december 16th.

Presume same for other big gamestop stores

Ordered early june meself so yay :F

Why wpuld staff in store lie?
They expect to have all orders fufilled by christmas apparently.
