Starting again after two months

Probably over two months ago now I realized I had glandular fever, and had done for approximately 8 months beforehand.

I was doing quite a bit of exercise, two rugby training sessions a week and two morning gym sessions, then maybe a rugby match say every 3 weeks and jogging at the weekends and walking some nights. Gym sessions were an hour (before school..) of basically just the fundamental things like squats and deadlifts etc. And jogs and walks were always the 6km route near my house.

So I was happily fit, but when I got glandular fever I was told to stop all of this, and so for the first time in 2 months I went for the 6k walk last night, and felt fine

Should there be any method to getting back into what I was doing? Does anyone know of a program for recovering after a break or something which I could apply to what I'm doing now? I don't want to do damage the next time I pick up a weight.

18 years of age 5 foot 10 and 67kg, not sure on bmi/%fat.

Get back on the programme you were on & go in at about 50% of what you were doing before you were sick. Build up slowly from there! No magic formula, if you liked what you did before just start at a lower level & guage how you feel!

Eat lots of good/clean food, 500kcal's surplus while you're regaining strength will help!
