An idiot and a reminder how one incident when caught on video can really damage people's view on groups/nationalities.

Given what seems to happen on our public transport on a regular basis it is not surprising that some of our lot are repeating it over in the UK.
Should be more security on trains anyway.

I'd say it is. You still see plenty of bucks like this in every town in England, though they are getting rarer. All they do is drink their wages and sleep in their own filth, not to mention act the complete cnut like this fellow. They're to be pitied more than hated I think.

I'd say that's more to do with fear from English people and naivety from foreigners. They were extremely brave IMO. I know I wouldn't have, in case the guy was really violent/armed.

It reminds me of a time I was on the train late at night and there were only seven people on the carriage. There was a family of four, myself and two other men, one of whom was drunk. I was listening to my iPod so didn't hear the ruckus until it got quite loud and pulled out an earphone to hear the drunkard screaming racist abuse at the family. The two kids were only about five or six.

He was screaming at them to '**** off back to their own country' etc. I was so shocked and mortified and didn't know what to do. The family moved further down the carriage and didn't say a word, just continued on with their conversation. It struck me that they were used to it. I moved away from the drunkard and to the seat opposite them and the other man soon followed.

I cried when I got home and felt so guilty for saying nothing but I was really at a loss as to what to say. Incidents like this are so unnecessary and so disgusting.
