Ok dont want to start WW3 with this but I want to lose some weight, and tone up and have read some of the previous threads but am still at a bit of a loss.

I am in a gym do an hour to an hour 20, 3 times a week I am going to try and increase to 4 or 5. I mainly do classes like spinning, TRX and Kettlbells.
I have cut down on carbs, if i'm eating bread its normally brown but i do slip a bit on this normally at the weekend.
    In the last 2 weeks my diet has consisted of ;

Breakfast @ 8; 2 weetabix full fat milk and a teaspoonfull of sugar I cant eat weetabix without the sugar.

Break @ 10; 2 sausages a fried egg and 1 slice mccambridge brown bread buttered.

Lunch @12:30; Chicken breast with pasta (about a handfull of if its raviolli 7 peices) and some veg again about a handfull.

Snack @ 4; one day fruit, banana and apple, next day chocolate, normally a kitkat.

Dinner if i go the gym i eat at about 8 if its a day i'm not at the gym its 6, i would only eat meat and veg no carbs with dinner but there could be a sauce a pasta or a pepper sauce if i'm eating steak.
Dinner can vary but the rest of the meals i've kinda stuck to. sometimes i actually dont even eat dinner.
Normally when i count up the calories they are hitting the 2000 mark or lower.

I wopuld have a few pints at the weekend one of the days I know this abviously doesn't help either but its hard to get through the weekend with out a few.

I'm mid 30's 5'9 and 14 stone and cant seem to get below this no matter how hard I work out. Obviously i need to cut out the chocolate but as for the rest of it I didn't think it was that bad.
Also would a protein shake help? Should I replace one of the meals with a shake? and if so which meal?
Also which is the best shake to get I really dont want to put on any weight, and was told that if i start to take protein shakes I would bulk up? Is this true?
Apologies if this is a bit long winded and many thanks in advance for any advice.

Weetabix, brown bread and pasta are all high in carbs. If you say that you have already cut down in carbs, I dread to think of what you were eating before.

Also, aside from the example dinner, there are no veg here. Drastically up your veg intake. If you don't like eating veg, find a different method of preparation and eat more of it.

Salads are convenient and healthy if you prepare them yourself.

It is untrue. I don't know if you are male or female, but if its the latter, you won't bulk up because you don't have enough testosterone in your system.

Male, used to only eat white bread, and a lot of potatoes, and take aways, i'd only have 1 take away at the weekend now.
Where could I add in more veg? I eat veg at lunch and dinner. I was thinking of changing the weetabix to a fruit and yogurt smoothie, would that help.
Also what type of protein is the best for what I am looking to achieve?
    Thank you for your reply!

Change the weeabix to bacon and eggs.

Instead of the pasta at lunch, add more veg.

add more veg to every meal, so for start at least 5*100g of veggies a day

and this is a good guide to fix your diet: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056501032

They are protein rather than carbs and sugar, and contain good fats, so better for you keeping your blood sugar steady
