    Long Story Short.

I'm a naturally skinny guy but have softness around the pecs, particularly along and below the nipple line.

    Long Story.
I was always very skinny and underweight with a completely flat chest in my teens and 20s. Put on a little healthy weight in my late 20s. Started doing the gym a few years ago and now aged33. I'm lean everywhere (approx 10% bf) except for these soft pecs that came in my late 20s . I presume the softness is fat but what can I do to work on this?

i have yet to see a guy with a low body fat that can bench over 100kg, chin with an added 20kg+ for reps and do a double body weight deadlift that has 'soft' pecs.

That would be a pretty good target for most i.e. get stronger or are you anywhere near those numbers?

There's plenty of guys that can only do half that and have rock hard pecs

Diet would be a factor as well I reckon.

Don't think guys benching 50kg will have much pecs

Perhaps pecs was the wrong word, how about man tits?!

So I'm lean all over except for some extra fatty deposits around my man tits area :-)

answer - get stronger & put on some muscle

Dont think its a keep at it answer you need and more like - Is your current training taking you in the direction you want to go for your goal?

You probably have a slight case of gyno.

You probably aren't as lean as you think you are.
    Where did 10% come from?

I've no doubt that the ten percent is likely wrong.
A consistent Ten percent measured on an inconsistent tanita scales!

The fact is though the my man boobs look and feel disproportionately softer compared to the rest of my leanish body.

I imagine the low bodyfat part was important. Plenty of lifters carrying extra weight will manage the numbers without liw body fat.
