1st of june the forms are out

Letters issuing in early June to people who are getting auto payments. Only those who do not get a letter will need a form. Forms will not be available until all the letters have issued. Makes sense really.

Just hold on and a application form will appear on the website, fill that out and you will get the payment.

My neighbour goes through this every year.

Great thought I'd have to wait longer since I only just posted end of June and not June 1st. TYSM.

This is only for people who automatically qualified and got a letter in the post. Its unlikely that those who have to apply for BSCFA will be paid on week 15th July due to different dates of submission.

I sent off my application without a payslip, but sent both social welfare slips for myself and my partner will this matter?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,758 ✭✭✭eastbono

It does ask that you include a recent payslip so I would think that not providing one will hold up your claim.

I got the text exactly one week after posting it. May take longer now as I'm assuming more forms are being sent in?

    Thanks.

I received my text today. so just over a week now.

Hi all, just as a quick heads up for anyone who hasn't received a letter about whether they are getting their payment this year. I was slow on the uptake this year and basically sat on my ass waiting to hear from them rather than look into it (until today).

If you haven't heard back then it might have something to do with any changes to your payment since last year. Be that, part-time / full time work at any point, changes in types of allowance eg. you've been on a FAS course or BTEA or whatever don't assume that you'll automatically get your payment. I've had to reapply today (in a panic) because I've had a few changes to mine since this time last year both because I'd done a course in FAS and I've had changes to my income. Just because you received last year and may be on the social don't assume you'll get your payment.

I downloaded the form today and got it out in the post. I couldn't find anything online that even mentioned anything about changes in income (while still within the brackets of eligibility), so I just thought I'd give anyone who hasn't heard back a heads up.

I expect a delay in my payment now because I'm late applying, so I used the CB today to take a chunk out of the books list. Lesson learned here! :)
