Not sure if im in the right section or not.

Just looking for something different to do with my daughters during the summer and thinking of hiring a boat for an hour or two for a day out.

I know there is a place just passed ballivor/kineggad in co meath @ the hill of downs,, used it years ago, do they still do them ? if so how much, do they have a website ?

or if there is anything similar in Dublin even ?

Hi, are you looking to go sailing or hire a motor cruiser?

A small motor boat, The boat I got before about 6 years ago, I think it was about €20/€30 an hour.

There's a few places around Lough Ree in Westmeath that do it, although I don't know much more than that. Like Steve I only really use boats that need sails :p.

I'm down in the Lough Ree area at the minute so I can try and find out some more if you want.

One thing I will say is, please learn about the nav marks and what the colours mean if you don't already know. I can't count the number of times the German tourists drive merrily along and find themselves in trouble after going the wrong side of a mark and seeing some shallow water or rocks approaching quickly.
