Following on from the off topic thread i think its a good idea to give this its own thread as it will no doubt get lost in the off topic thread. I also think giving it a separate thread will give it a bit more visibility as some dont read the off-topic thread

For me it's mostly Chivalry, Borderlands 2 (and MC, but not applicable). I've only just finished with exams though, and I've been meaning to get into a few games. CS:GO for one. Picked it up a while ago, just never got around to playing it.

I have l4d/l4d2, Day of Defeat/DOD Source, Red Orchestra and Rising Storm. Would pick up CS in a sale though if others were up for it, never really played CS though, only 1.6 briefly years ago - sucked at it and hated it too! Willing to try again though....

Mainly Arma 2 Wasteland and different dayz mods , other than that Chivalry / Civ 5 and back in the Beta of Company of heroes 2 :cool:

mostly play lol and BF3, but I'll pick up cs go and chivalry next time they're on sale, or any other game people have interest in.

I'd be willing to get back into DayZ if there was enough interest, could be fun on the boards servers or something if the Glorious Race just ran around in a bus or something

the cool steam compare thing monotype pointed out in the other thread appears to be broken. at least I couldn't get it working?

i dont think it works if your account is private

Most of us should have CS:S & Company of Heroes and theres a lot of good F2P games too so ill add what i can find

Dayz or wasteland could be a lot of fun with a good few of us on a server alright.

I've never played DayZ. I had meant to pick it up, guess I just forgot about it. Is it actually any good? It looked like it would be from trailers.

Both dayz and wasteland are a lot of fun especially if playing with a group of people.

I suggest playing your first game of day-z with the lights down at night in the dark and a good pair of headphones turned up.

Be prepared to die a lot It's pretty much survival horror starting out.

That's true. I'm not the biggest fan but it is fun when a lot of you are on together. Especially wasteland which has an abundance of vehicles.

I loved the idea of DayZ. Bought needed games, installed it, then decided to wait for stand alone dayZ game.

It is cool idea, but ARMA engine is freaking annoying. I just cant play the damn thing.

More of a lurker on here than a poster, but I joined the steam group anyways After all, yous are the guys who helped me get into PC gaming...

I mainly play random Arma 2 mission files that ive downloaded, some of which are absolutely awesome And lots and lots of dayz, awesome fun in groups.

Planetside2 mostly. I gave up on TF2 a while back when the hats became too much. I've just reinstalled Rift too so I'm gonna try get back into that.

Typing this on my now booting PC. I think in the short term I chose the wrong thing but this time next year when I'm repeating I'll probably hate myself....while doing it all again.

And that's all that matters right now , I'll have the internet to drown my sorrows if all doesn't end up well.

If someone in this house had sabotaged my pc there would have been a lot more scuff marks on the case from the hammer :P

Will join up although don't get to play much multiplayer as the PC is in a common living area, so the missus doesn't appreciate team chat while Coronation Street is on (Plus I suck at FPS in all truth).

But might be able to join in something late on weekend nights from time to time.

Just tell her you dont appreciate hearing corrie while gaming with the boardsies, get her the app on her phone and send her to bed haha, my game library is somewhat limited, but if yous are playing a game that I have then ill hop on no problem

Ah you don't need to play with a mic. TBH, I find it more irritating most of the time. Essential for good team coordination, but for just a bit of fun, not necessary.

yep i was playing quite a bit before HOTS came out but with moving and a ****ty laptop and my MMR being completely bugged (I'm randomly playing masters players in silver) i havent played an awful lot.

Starcraft 2 would be a great game too. I got Hots, but I only did campaign. Have not played online properly at all. Would love to play with someone that I actually know here!

Id like to join up aswell, most of my mates are in the stone age with xbox 360s. I have one myself and like playing with people but its hard to go back to that after playing full 1080p.

I switched 3 simply because I had decent usage cap with 3G. :P As it was, I was paying 5 euro credit per mon for a measly 500mb.
