Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Has anyone ever had the lower wisdom teeth out? I had mine both out yesterday, one was a bit tricky as they had to cut some of bone to get it out. Just wondering how long till Im back to normal...as in face is badly swollen & although im hungry im afraid to eat!! :D Any advice appreciated
