Can this router be an access point only?

Basically I want to replace my router and use the thomson as a wireless access point only.

Try disabling dhcp, the wan port and pluging an ethernet cable from the lan in the other router to another lan socket in the thomson. Set wireless ssid and password as the other router. See how you get on.
