Recurring Stitch!

    Hi,

    Ive started doing conditioning classes which are going great but during the HIIT training i get an excruciating stitch in the ab area which prevents me from giving it 100%.

    This is getting progressively worse. I.e. i only start getting the stitch about 2-3 classes in.
    Now i get a stitch in the same place just walking down stairs/short distance walking.

    I have tried not eating for Hours before working out, having minimal water before and during working out and im working on my breathing but am concerned because it is getting worse.

    Im sitting in work at the moment and the area that i had the stitch yesterday is still sore!

    Anyone have any tips (bar the food/water/deep breathing and exhaling on impact foot etc) to avoid this?!

    Normally talking about how to rid yourself of a stitch would not be a problem, but what you describe could be an injury, which would make this into a medical advice thread, really.

    Could you head off to a sports physio or gp to rule out any damage, and if you get the all clear you can let me know and we can reopen this and talk about stitch cures all day long. :)
