I don't know much about laser treatment, but I used to have acne problems for years.

I tried so many different things. The most drastic thing I did was fork out nearly a €1000 for a couple of chemical peels done by a dermatologist. The first one made my skin look great, but the second one, gave me more spots than ever.
Afaik, these things can really backfire.

Then, 3 years ago, I discovered the site - acne.org. It's a very simple solution (though it's difficult to have the patience to follow the routine every day).

I've never had acne trouble since, and I never even think much about it anymore.

I recommend giving it a try, watch the videos. It seems to work for alot of people

Don't think the OP is looking for acne treatment more so something to help with the scars.

My advice is to stay away from The Hospital Group anyway and be willing to pay for a decent place.

    Hi OP,
What acne scars do you currently have? Are they indents or red stains on your face? I had red stains on my face stype scars and got laser treatment in the Blackstock clinic. Over the course of a year it added up to €1000. You get treatments every 6-7 weeks at €200 a pop. Although it is a lot of money, it really did work and I now rarely wear makeup when before the thought of it would make me cry!

I did have to get a referral from my gp. Many of my friends went to Blackrock as well and couldn't recommend it enough!

Thanks FueledbyAisling, I had the scars much worse than red stains, anyway I went to the Blackrock clinic last week and decide to go for the laser treatment there, I did not get GP referral but they charged for it, so work out same thing :-)
