I'm looking to build a good gaming PC for about 1,500 euro, but I figure it'd be easier to build online as I have no knowledge of this stuff, I tried the Dell website but I'm looking for alternatives, is custompc.ie reliable?

From what I heard avoid CustomPc.ie at all costs. I hear they have terrible customer service and after sales support along with being massively overpriced.

Most people on here use http://www.hardwareversand.de/home.jsp;jsessionid=33B18D767073C141456A6A278F705EDA.www2.

You can click on pc configurator and select either a pre configured pc or pick the parts yourself. Picking parts is easy as it only shows stock that is compatible with what you have already selected. They make your PC for you for about 20 quid if you dont want to make it yourself. And shipping is 18.99 total. :)

If you post answers to the question from here

We can list components you need from hardwareversand, the you can build it yourself or have them build it.

BTW you can get the same spec Dell would charge €1500 for about €900

Buy from HWVS. Buying in parts saves A LOT of money. A 1000 euro PC from Dell would generally be very much outperformed in every way by a 1000 euro built PC. HWVS can assemble it for for you if you like. I would recommend building it though, it's fun and gives you a nice insight as to how your PC functions.

I would avoid customPC for the prices if not for the service.

Answer the questions in the sticky of this forum and we can help you out. Fifteen hundred is a fine budget and will get you a very powerful machine :)

    Crossed with tuxy.
