I'm just after buying one but am a bit unsure how long/how to use it? I was using a video off youtube but it was an hour long - I was doing 20 minutes and then forwarding to cool down section.

Anyone any tips for a total beginner on it?!

Hey, you can really use it whichever way you like - just make sure you're putting the effort into it and getting your heart rate up :)

It's handy to keep it simple; whenever I use it I just hit the 'quickstart' button and make sure my speed stays above 65/70.

Make sure your calves are well stretched and you are warmed up before use. I used to "warm up" on the CT itself but then found that my calves would really hurt the next day. Maybe just me but that is my experience.

Not my calves, but my thighs were sore today. I did some stretching before and they seem fine afterwards.

How often should it be used? I was thinking of trying to do something each day and take sunday off.

What are you doing it for? To lose weight I presume? Bear in mind if you want to see results then your diet needs to be in check too and it'd worth looking up a few home bodyweight workouts to add in alongside it, if you do a search here there's a fairly big thread on them floating around.
