Crazy prices. Can you weld? know anyone that can? A basic sled is very very easy to make.

You can't really push a sled, you can a prowler/dog sled. I'd go for a prowler because I've used one and found them great and awful at the same time.

The basic method I used with it was: 40kg or less as fast as possible; roughly BW at medium pace (whatever that is); and 1.5bw+ for slow pushes. Basically pushing it 20m and in ten minutes you'd look to get 20+ pushes with 40kg; 10+ pushes with BW and 5+ with the heavy weight.

Couldn't tell you much about acceleration but I'd imagine the light two are good for that. They all cover general conditioning in different ways.

And yeah if you can find someone to weld one it shouldn't too big a job.

Many squat stands or benches might be possible to convert into prowlers with minimal additional welding/bolting stuff on. If making would I would consider incorporating other things into it, like a low chinup bar & dip bars. If you convert a squat stand it might still be able to be used for squats of course.

Personally I would go for a prowler. I presume with a dog sled you dont have to turn the weight around! Try Gorilla Gym equipment in Limerick. They make an economy prowler that can be broken down in 2seconds & can be thrown in & out of the car. As for surfaces it's grand on concrete or astro. Forget about using it on grass!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who could do welding for me.

Cheers for that Ste, i was thinking lighter pushes for acceleration work alright.
I'm in the US so not able to avail of that service in Limerick unfortunately. Will do some investigating to see if I can find something similar.
