Liverpool v QPR. 4pm

A game which shall live in the memory only as being the last ditch tackle of Jamie Carragher. When called upon this season he steadied the back line and has justified his continued presence. He has stated that if Liverpool should win a penalty he will not take it.

Otherwise it's hard to get too excited other than to hope Liverpool bang a few in and that we might see a youth or two get a decent run out (had been chatter about Jordan Ibe).

Teams to follow but Agger, Gerrard, Suarez, Allen, Sterling and Kelly are all definitely not playing. While QPR are missing Wright-Phillips, Young and Johnson.

I believe QPR are without Remy also over alleged rape arrest...

Should be thrashing QPR today, want to see good attacking display with a few goals to end the season on a high and give Carra a good sending off

Thought he was still available for the game today as he was bailed.

Liverpool team: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Lucas, Henderson, Shelvey, Downing, Coutinho, Sturridge.

Is that confirmed? Disappointed not to see Suso or another young player get a game.

Wow. Nice to get a look at a young player I've not seen before. That's kind of what I was hoping from this game. I would have liked to see Suso get a start too though.

Good on Ibe, the lad from Wycombe.

Seen Ibe do well for the U21s a few times, hopefully he shows that today. QPR couldnt be a better game for him and hopefully we'll win and get a good few goals. Crazy that Carra is 19 years older than Ibe.

He seems to have been injured for ages.

What happened to him? I was under the impression he got a small injury that'd keep him out for a couple of weeks.

Ibe is a wonderful surprise. Definitely the standout player for the youth team this season in terms of a performance peak level he has shown to be capable of. He has destroyed teams at times when the mood has taken him. Consistency has been the only thing lacking from him this season. He has a monster performance once in every three games but goes missing for other two. It's quite common at that age and the important thing is that you know he has something special in him. Interesting to see how he gets on as he's much more physically capable than Sterling was at the same age breaking through. Absolute rocket of a right peg on him.

    Opr
