    Hi,

I got one of my teeth removed this week now I haven't been in any pain YET!! But when I was finished the doctor said I had a partial dry socket which I have come to realise is a painfull condition although thankfully I haven't been in pain so far.
My question is when I got my tooth removed two days ago the doctor placed surgical cloth in the wound and said it would fall out naturally now because I had a exam today I didn't want to expose the socket in case of pain I kept it lodged in my tooth by pushing it back in, I am in fear of infection and am wondering should I take it out or let it fall out?????????????
