    hi there

has anyone experience about launching a boat with rear wheel drive cars??
im used to a long wheel base van front wheel drive and its a piece of cake singlehanded... i guess the difference will be less time in the 6 hour tide drop that u can launch?

Hi Fe1exams, sometimes it's an advantage to have rear wheel drive as the weight of the boat can stop the wheels from spinning, one of the disadvantages is that the rear wheels will be on the wet slippery stuff first so if the slipway is very bad you might be better off letting the boat down with a rope around the tow bar. Rear wheel drive cars have been towing boats longer than front wheel drive :D so you should have no problem as long as your within the towing capacity of your car.
