Just wondered what do other people put on calves when they're letting them out together for the summer after being in slatted shed for winter. We used to use Stockholm tar to stop them fighting others say vinegar. Just wondered what other people use

They'd be about 18 months. On average

They may be too hot leaving the shed. It is a good idea to reduce the diet before leaving cattle off. Take off meal/ration 6 week before letting them off to grass. two weeks before if all have access to feed face reduce back silage quanity then 3-4 day before reduce back further. Do not feed anythinng but straw for last 24-36 hours. They will go out hungry and put the heads down. This will reduce fighting and settle them faster.
