    Hi all !
Could anyone help me out ? I'm currently in Slimming World. I've already lost 1st 4lbs and have targeted to lose 6 more st !
I want to increase my exercise more by doing a squat challenge but when I do them my knees start cracking ? Should I continue doing them or stop ?

As long as you are warming up properly your knees cracking isn't an issue - assuming its not sore or anything?

No not sore at all just not pleasant hearing your knees crack ! If I was to warm up by going for a walk first would that help ?

joint mobility warm up would be better, I have a similar problem.
Ill find a video for you.
    Edit.
Thanks to tommyknocker and rossin for this:

A full warm up like this will help with any joint popping. It certainly does for me and I sound like a bag of stones in the morning, everything clicks, cracks and pops.
Ive been informed by a Dr, a physio and a chiropractor that if there is no associated pain that it is nothing to be concerned with, but you should still verify with your DR before starting any training programme.

It wont hurt, but you should probably look at mobility warmups for your legs, hips and knees. You can also do some foam rolling.

even though you are only squatting you should still do the full warm up video btw. You will get much more benefits with 10 mins of that a day.
