Windows 8 update size

    I posted in a previous thread about the size of updates for Windows 8. I've regularly seen 500MB+ of updates on a clean install already. On today's Patch Tuesday I updated two machines, one Windows 8 Pro and the other Windows 7 Pro SP1. Both were fully patched up to today:

    Windows 7: 59.7MB
    Windows 8: 157.7MB

    I wonder why the updates for Windows 8 are over twice the size of the Windows 7 ones?
