Not to insult you but I have seen your trying to acieve in the JC, which is so good compared to mine, but how do you plan to get that result if you waste a whole good week, have already studied before hand. Like do you already have finished learning the course ?

Well, I know what questions are coming up, and I know what to study, I also know the exam techniques on most of the papers. I have mindmaps ready on almost all topics for alot of the subjects .. so the day before the exam, just cram the mind maps ;). I used the Mocks to test a few things, I got the results I needed, so I'm postive that achieving good grades in the Junior Cert won't take alot of effort.;)

Obviously I won't just study the predictions , you'll have to be CRAZY to do that. I'll study the whole course on all subjects .. the only way my plan will back fire is if I forget to bring the cheat cheat to the examin centre ... did I just say that;)? :o Subjects like English and Maths have types of questions that come up every year .. :p

And how do you plan to do that in 1 week ??

I have condensed most of the course on most subjects into short notes and mindmaps, it's easy if you know what to do :p.

    I know I've studied, but I can't help freaking out o.o

For geography, should we learn both heavy and light industries? And should we know the three climates in detail? Thanks :)

Know one industry (heavy or light) in detail, and know one climate in detail.

Whoah, whoah, whoah. Whoah. What is this heavy/light industry you speak of? And could someone explain what we need to know for a climate?

My Geography teacher is awful, we haven't even finished the course after spending a month on bogs, which has only ever come up once!!! Ever!!!

Know one industry (heavy or light) in detail, and know one climate in detail.
So you only need to study one climate and one Industry ..??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,823 ✭✭✭DublinArnie

    Example:

Q:Explain two factors why an industry would locate in a area.

A: I have studied Cadburys in Coolock. This industry is a light industry because it can be located anywhere, the output and imput are not too bulky. Cadburys is located in Coolock because the town contains an educated workforce. The industry employs 1000 people from the town. This is because there are universities such as Trinity College and DCU in Dublin, to provide the people with the right qualifications. Therefore, the town supplies the industry with a workforce to run it. However, another reason why this light industry is located in Coolock is of the fast and effective transport. Cadburys is located beside the M50 (correct me if i'm wrong). This national motorway provides fast and cheap transport around Dublin, it also provides a fast route to Dublin Airport, which is vital for exporting and importing resources and products.

I did this answer on the top of my head, could improve, but that's the jist of it.

But won't you forget the small details by the time of the JC? Best to make small memory notes to look over the next day to quickly jog all the dates etc back into your head :p.
