How does one put a valuation on land that belongs to one person, but where some of it has been planted, with the owner's permission, in some one else's name?

You could get a forestry company to value it for you

Was curious as to how to value land which has a crop on it- how to value the land which is useless to the owner for the next 20 odd years

The premium income would also be a consideration in the valuation.
