Craze/preworkouts, no effect after first time!

About 2 weeks ago, more out of curiosity than anything else, I tried Craze preworkout, by DS.

First time, a single scoop, as recommended. After about 30 minutes it really kicked in. I had loads of energy, great mood, hyped up between sets, did a fantastic workout. Could barely sleep that night!

Every single time since then, it hasn't had even a fraction of that effect. Most times it feels like I've taken absolutely nothing.

I had a similar experience with Sci-MX's X-Plode, which I also tried about 2 months ago. First time, really felt it. Every session after, nothing really.

Is this a pretty common occurrence? Or do I just have some kind of tolerance for these things? Are there do's/don'ts for these things in regard to your pre-workout meal altering the effect?

Not really interested in hearing for/against these pre-workout supplements, no offence, not what I'm asking about. I really would love to have the effect of my first experience with Craze before every workout, it was fantastic, but doesn't seem to happen now, even with 2 scoops.

I've tried NXT-TNT for last couple months on and off and find myself in a similar situtation. First few times were possibly a bit too intense but now it's more of a pep in my step than anything.
Started on recommended 3/4 scoop and now on heaped scoops.

It's my only experience with preworkouts so not much experience but I do find taking it on an empty stomach (as instructed) helps and also if I take a break for a few days then go again gives a bit more of a pep but still a pep.

I've read that you're supposed to cycle these things so I'll prob take a break after this tub for a couple of weeks and see if the intensity comes back!

I've had the same scenario with ronnie colemans myoblitz. I've been off it for a month and going to give it a go again this evening and see what happens.

I got a tub of Jack3d recently (the new one) and I've found the same, I don't think it's as effective as the older formula.
I found the "original" jack3d mental stuff all together, it's got beta-alanine in it so you get that weird tingling in your skin, I was taking it daily for weeks though and found it worked every time without fail.

Caffeine is really hard on your stomach but taking pre-workout on an empty stomach definitely makes a huge difference !

The original Jack3d has been banned and is not available anymore.

Jack3d Micro is a completely different product and isn't supposed to replace the old one. The purpose of it is more for a mental focus than a rush. They've taken the majority of the stimulants out of it which is what most people seem to be hooked on.

Unfortunately that woman had a preexisting heart condition from what I remember. She took a stimulant. Her heart would have already been working hard from the running and she took a product containing DMAA, it was a recipe for disaster and sadly she died. I don't agree with the banning of DMAA but I believe that the majority of people who were selling it couldnt give a fúck about their customers well being and just care about profit margins so it's probably for the best.

Take a break from all stimulants. This includes coffee, red bull etc. Do this for four weeks. Take your pre workout again.

Ordered two tubs of Craze. Will stack it with coffee and cake for ultimate gains.

The danger there is that you get too big, as opposed to just big. I hate when you take a new pre-workout and you accidentally wake up the next day and you're a bodybuilder :(

Have been using this over the past week. Have increased the dosage gradually and at 3 scoops I still feel zero. I just don't respond to stimulants.

They've definitely changed the formula. I took it last year for a tub, loved it.

I stopped for a few months and bought the new 'improved' flavour. It's nowhere near the same quality of product.

The old craze was worryingly great. At times I wondered if I was going to gym just for the buzz off the craze.
