But for Sturridge, it was a disaster of a week. I embarassingly benched Hazard as I thought he was injured after limping off midweek and looking at some BAD INFO on Twitter on the Saturday morning. Stupid stupid decision. Had Fellaini on the bench so started him and that was predictably bad.

Have Theo captain, Cazorla to come in midweek. Also Tevez who probably wont start at Reading. I can see Aguero and Dzeko starting in that one.
Why bench him anyway? If he is out, then you're subs come in. If he makes the squad and only comes on as a sub, then that's annoying but worth the risk with potential big hitters.

Did he definitely make some stupid comments then?

Can't say for sure that he did say it but reports that he said he wants to go to a club where he gets first team football on the reg. Pretty fair I'd say.
I wouldn't really call that stupid comment, I think Mancini's on the rag.

Not what I was hoping for

Out all day and heard United won 2-0 and RVP hadn't scored, return to find he's banged in 2 assists. Sickening. More annoyed at myself that I didn't pull the trigger on Lukaku to Sturridge for a 4 point hit, convinced myself that it was an unnecessary gamble after a good week last week.

Had this same dilemma myself, disappointed I didn't do it now, but still happy enough with my logic for not going it.

On 57 after bonuses with Mertesacker, Walcott and Tevez left to play. If Tevez doesn't feature then Maloney will come in for me off the bench. My Lampard transfer paid off big time and hopefully he starts the last game of the season against Everton.

2 BPs for Coutinho and RVP would be just dandy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 252 ✭✭Kinder Bueno

    Coutinho only got 1 bp.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭GetWithIt

61 after bps with Kone to play.

My earlier Barfa bravado somewhat negated due to my other potential choices outscoring him once the bps came in. Barfa 7, Johnson 8, Coutino 9. Slightly disappointed.

Damn you roryc you handsome devil.

47 (-4) with Walcott, Hart, Kone and Maloney to go. Thank you Frankie Lamps and captain RVP for those 2 assists. Selling Mirallas for Lukaku last week makes me sad though. Won't be reaching the heights of last week but I expect goals at the Emirates on Tuesday (I'm going doncha' know? Don't think I've mentioned it ha)

Very good score. I'm on 24. Dropped 2k down to 8k. This week appears to be a write off unless Walcott can salvage something.

The team is looking in good order for next week though so hoping to finish out strongly.

If you'd have offered me 8k or so at Xmas I'd have snapped your hand off.

When I saw Miralles scored twice I remembered you had him on your GW36 bench. Well played!

Sturridge did biz for me, have Theo captain too but less confident now after Wigan's courageous cup win. That momentum might make life difficult for Arsenal on Tue!

47 (-4) with Hart, Tevez and Santi (c) left to go. Have Kone on the bench in case Tevez doesnt play, but no sub keeper, so could be down to 10. Its all on Santi now though, a goal from him would just be delightful

Shipped Michu out for Walcott  Hopefully Walcott has a blinder... would have left the armband on Bale though if i didnt bring Walcott in though so there is still hope! I need Tevez and Hart to start on Tuesday though or im done, also a to keap a CS and for Tevez to assist a Yaya goal ha! Its too close at the top of my money league and i need a decent score this week to keep me in the running or my mate has it the b@stard!

62 with Hart,Sagna & Walcott still to play.My decision to bring in Mirallis for Kone really paid off big time.

Is Zabaleta not suspended for the rest of the season after his sending off yesterday lads? Sorry, didn't know where else to ask.

very similar, just outside 7k, but a poor week unless walcott (c) salvages it.
only 26 points with walcott , sagna, mariappa :o and maybe tevez, hart to play.

unless i get a big return, it's all but wrote off my slim chances of getting €600, had clawed back an 80 point differnce back to 11 but it'sgone to 25 after yesterday.

Lot of people in the 50's and 60's, makes my 33 look pretty pitiful. Dropped back to 11k with Hart, Zab Sagna, Tevez and Walcott (c)

Last 5 weeks have all been red arrows and have pushed me from circ.8k to 15k. Finally I'm seeing green arrows again, have 45 points(without having Sturridge) with 5 to play - Clichy, Tevez, Nasri, Sagna and Maloney to play. Michu is waiting on the bench to come on so hopefully 1 out of the 4 attacking players doesn't feature

Yeah was very happy with that as I had some really nice differentials recently who didn't pay off. He's given me a headache now as the plan was Strurridge in for Lukaku this week and go 3-5-2 but now I'm thinking of 3-4-3.

I'm really annoyed by Michu though. Like Mirallas, he was in my plans for a massive GW38 appearance vs Fulham, but then Laudrup fecked us over by announcing that he was done for the season.

32pts with Robles, Kompany, Silva, Aguero, Carzola & Walcott left to play. Captain Bale didn't deliver this week....all eyes on the midweek fixtures!

God knows what the City team is going to be with all the rumours and Mancini all but sacked according to the Press.
