I am looking at a 24 foot cruiser at the moment for use on Lough Ree and the Shannon Waterways generally.

Can anyone give me a guide as to how much it would cost for mooring in an established yard, for the months of June to September inclusive. Or would it be as cost effective to moor in the one place for a 12 month period?

Are such moorings hard to get?

    Hi Tom,
Generally minimum charge is about 1k regardless of size,a 36 ft boat would run you 1250 e plus leccy, and for a minimum six month period expect to pay 7/800 e plus lift in out.
