World Quizzing Championships 2013 - Irish Heat - Dublin, Sat Jun 1st

    The WORLD QUIZZING CHAMPIONSHIP is just around the corner and You can take on the World on Saturday 1st June.

    The Irish venue for the event has been confirmed as The Addison Lodge, Glasnevin, Dublin 9.

    Please note the change of venue from last year, when it was held in Athlone.

    Registration will begin at 11am with the quiz starting before 11:30. Full timetable on our events page. There will also be a fun team quiz later that afternoon for those interested in taking part. Entrance is only €10 per person for the entire day of quizzing.

    The event is open to EVERYBODY, regardless of age, gender or background. Last year globally, scores ranged from 1 out of 210 to 186 out of 210!

    For those interested in Ranking Points towards the Irish Team, this is one of the 4 top rated events on the 2013 calendar, so don’t miss out.

    Also, it is worth noting that the AGM of the Irish Quiz Organisation will be held afterwards and all those interested in joining the organisation are most welcome.

    Note, this is an individual quiz, not a team quiz. Though there will be a social team quiz after the individual quiz is over.

    Update:
    Over 100 venues around the world have signed up for Saturday's quiz. Almost 2,000 quizzers competed worldwide last year, should be even more this year...
