Coutinho in for me. Have been very impressed with him every time Ive seen him hes very rarely mentioned on here. Fulham A and Qpr H last 2 fixtures.

either michu to coutinho or lambert to sturridge. leaning towards sturridge at the minute. I dont want a points hit in case liverpool dont do well and already have enrique

Have him since week 29, regular in the team, had been subbed early in game that Suarez was sent off in, quality player.

Had planned getting him in back then myself got sidetracked by dgws and have regretted it as he racked up the points. His pass for the 3rd goal last week was unreal.

    A great pass it was!
He's only 20 yet, has had 10 games,2 goals,5 assists and 23 shots on goal.
Being a Brazillian is a help too!

Going to wait until after the match tomorrow, just in case

given that he seems to be out for the season it's a fairly easy one, Michu out, both liverpool and arsenal have 2 good fixtures remaining so will probably go for Gerrard or Santi.

Will probably get Mert and Sturridge in.

Michu out for nasri or Walcott..?
Have Bale already. Sale value of 7.4 for me for michu atm, and 2.3 in bank.
Even if he plays next week it will be against man u away. Only one match left after that... So transfer out seems like a good idea.

Laudrup admits Michu won't feature again!

Looks like Michu out for Coutinho for me too

Michu to Walcott is all (barring any injuries/suspensions)

    Nice and simple this week

Michu to Walcott. Better option than Coutinho atm, for me.

    Superhero Maloney is staying.

Had to free up funds for Walcott so Benteke ----> Sturridge and Michu ----> Walcott. Just as well I did it last night as Sturridge went up

Tevez Aguero and Kone up front , getting sturridge for tevez next week ,, do i need to get RVP back in for the last 2 weeks as well at a cost of aguero ? with the team united put out today it looks like rotation all the way so will rvp play the last home match against swansea ??

i def wouldn't get him back in. i have him and would have considered selling him only for with the michu injury that'll take up my free transfer.

i think he'll only start 1 of the last 2 and with the amount of rotation today it could well see RVP on the bench v swansea next week, i'll probably keep him because even if he plays 25 minutes he could score so isn't worth a 4 point hit to get rid of but i certainly wouldn't advise anyone to transfer him in.

How likely is De Gea to feature in the last two weeks? He's not starting today. My sub keeper is Frederici, who has only played once since February, so he's not really adequate.

    Michu and maybe Fellaini, out;

No idea who to get in, I have Bale,Walcott and Mata already.

fellaini is at home to fulham and is back playing in an advanced role, i'd keep him, certainly not worth a hit to get rid of him.

Stuck Fellaini on my bench this week but he'll be back in my team next week.Already made the move of Michu out for Coutihno.
Looking at a 3-5-2 formation unless something drastic happens during the week.

I'm stuck in the same boat, and I have Michu, so unless I take a 4 point hit, somebody is gonna be zero points next week.

for those of you with DDG and Federici i'd simply bring in Hart if you can afford him. or eif you can't then swap federici to Bunn, even at a 4 point hit. Norwich have a decent fixture this week (fulham or west brom at home i think) so start DDG, if he plays against swansea, great, good chance of a cs, if not bunn comes in with a good chance of a cs too, if not he'll probably get 2. when you're going to get 0, a 4 point hit isn't such a bad thing.
I think DDG will miss 1 of the last 2 so i'd make the move/

But how can you be sure Bunn will play ahead of John Ruddy?

too lazy to check now if you can affard both but if you can go for carra and walcott. i think you def need walcott anyway. at home to wigan who will have just played the fa cup final a few days earlier and the arsenal match will be their 4th match in about 11days wheras arsenal had 10 or so days off.

I went with Cazorla and Michu to Walcott and Gerrard (-4p).

I'm currently 4th in my ml and 5p behind 3rd and 22 behind 2nd. I'm going to captain Stevie G cos I need some difference to catch up those main rivals.

just went with Michu to coutinho now that he's safely through his match, i chose him over gerrard because he seems more influential in attack and it also leaves me with enough to switch anichebe to sturridge for the final week. he could still get injured in training but if that slim possibility happens I'll just bring in Maloney v arsenal from my bench.
Just wanted it done early because i've spent way too much time thinking of it the last couple of weeks.

if any of my players in the tuesday or wednesday matches gets injured/suspended i might look at a 4 point hit, in fact if chelsea beat spurs i might consider a 4 point hit to bring cazorla in for mata given how likely he'd be to miss at least 1 of the last 2 games that are either side of the cup final.

Also unsure what to do about RVP, united seem to be on their holidays already and after the rotation yesterday i'd expect he could be on the bench v swansea, but because it'd cost me 4 points to get rid of him i think i'll keep him, he could still score coming off the becnh v swansea but more importantly there's absolutely no-one jumping out at me to bring in, chelsea/city both look like their seasons are over too, spurs rotate strikers and neither are in good form, arsenal have a great fixture but podolski only plays 65 minutes or so and i think could be dropped after saturday in favour of walcott upfront and in any case giroud will be back for the last match. sturridge is a good shout but i have a plan to bring him in for the qpr game.
Lambert is probably the best shout with sunderland away and stoke at home but he hasn't scored in 5 and i'd need him to score at least once just to cancel out the 4 point hit, so would need 2 goals to gain points and that's assuming RVP only gets a 2 or a 1, the possibilty he could start against a terrible swansea side means i'll keep him and have just wasted your time reading this but typing it helped me reach my decision :)

Everton have West Ham and Chelsea last two games, not easy.

I am selling Michu and Fellaini for Walcott and Coutinho for -4

for those 2 he probably is worth getting rid of but if you could afford the walcott move this week without selling fellaini i'd keep fellaini for the home game to fulham and then bring in coutinho next week for his home game to qpr, would save you a 4 point hit and you could gain from fellaini this week.

But your call, i got rid of fellaini last week myself for maloney and got coutinho in this week for michu.

Good plan. not keen to get rid of Fellaini tbh. There may be a rotation risk with Mata and I only have two strikers so I really need 5 midfielders. Think I will take your advice, thanks.

carragher has been a great signing for me 6 clean sheets from the 9 games ive had him. With him due to retire I can see gerrard allowing him take a peno if liverpool get one particularly at home to qpr.

Enrique for me too. I got him in for the DGW and he has really delivered since then.

Those minus 2 points could end up being crucial :pac: but no seriously I've had Enrique in since the end of January and he's been a great addition. He's nearly a no brainer every week and while his attacking points have slipped he's still a threat. If I'd known Carragher would play at that time I probably would have brought him in instead, after that Swansea game!

ha ha very true. He did end up taking a peno for england in one of their penalty shoot out losses and scored only to be ordered to retake it and then missed.

Any idea on who to get in for Michu?

    Midfield at moment-
    Bale
    Walcott
    Countinho
    Hazard
    8.8M to play with

Opponent (5 points behind me) has-

    Bale
    Nasri
    Michu
    Sissoko
    Maloney

Heads up to those that are thinking about Gerrard for the last 2 weeks. He may be undergoing shoulder surgery, sounds like too much of a risk for anyone to bring him in.

I would go with Fellaini. Played off Anichebe on Sun so should surely do same vs West Ham. Would be a strong candidate for transfer GW38 though.

Or else Arteta, away to New more favorable than Everton's last game away to Chelsea.

5 points is nothing, I personally would not be looking at opponents team to negate, but seeing as you have the team up I suppose you have been thinking Nasri! (actually not a bad shout anyway, he has played 90 mins in last 4 games. The question is will he play FA cup final and then Reading 4 days later?)

Thanks for that. I was at the game on Sunday and have to say he did look to be struggling with it. Also, I thought quite a few of the Liverpool players didn't look up for it, game had quite a subdued feel to it. Given that it now looks like Everto will finish higher, then I would be wary of trusting any Liverpool players over the last 2 gameweeks for motivational reasons. And if Gerrard was missing as well, then those concerns would be increased.

sometimes by doing things "the sensible way" you lose out cos of price rises and falls

There is 1 more week left after this. Unless you literally can't sign the player you want because of the price rise or fall, how much does it really matter?
