IT Cert Choice okay?

So decided to up my skills this years and currently work in I.T. I wonder what do people make of this plan and is their any other courses you should think I should study for or that I should change on my list.

CCNA - currently qualified.
MCSA - SQL Server 2012 - currently studying (410 complete)
MCSA - Windows Server 2012 - will study others when complete
Comptia Linux + - will study when others complete.
VMware Certified Professional - will study when others complete

I hope to have these all completed by Dec and was wondering if anyone would know if there is better certs out there than I am currently doing or would I better off just getting the professional in one or two than doing them all.

What field do you work in? What kind of work do you want to do long term?

There's a limit to how much benefit you're going to get out of doing Microsoft certs if you want to get into network engineering for example, and vice versa. Having a broad range of skills can be nice, but you don't wan't to end up a jack of all trades but master of none.

On first look (and admittedly not understanding your exact goal), the selection of certs that you mention seem to cover a broad area.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing but in terms of career advancement you have to decide whether you want to be a jack of all trades or a specialist in a particular area.

There are arguments for an against both.

Well I plan on just doing them and the maybe do a profesional in the ones I prefer. I was just wondering is their better certs out their or any big obvious ones I'm leaving out
