So i got a tub of this to try and wondering has anyone any experience with it?? I go to the gym 4 maybe 5 times a week and was using Pure Whey Protein, the tub was approx €50 for approx 50 servings..

The Herbalife is a much smaller tub at only approx 20 servings per tub but at the same price:eek: It mixes really well but does taste very sweet..

Just interested to know if its actually worth its price tag as there are very few reviews on it that i can find..

    Cheers

Anything you get from them is most likely both overpriced and crap.

Im getting mixed reviews from what i can find on the net, its hard to find a decent neutral review... i think its a pretty new range and this is why there are few reviews...

Anyone ever used any of the range??

hmm... read the label maybe? http://performancenutrition.herbalife.com/images/rebuild-endurance-label2.png

    serving size: 44.5g
carbs: 27g (of which sugar: 14g)
    proteins: 10g
    some vitamins

seriously... those carbs they're selling are really expensive

If the ingredients are the same, but one is ~2.5 times more expensive, then you're probably being ripped off by a factor of ~2.5!

What sort of reviews do you think you're gonna get from food?

Herbalife seems to be the newest scam out on the market. Lots of guys being recruited to sell it on commission and therefore they make outrageous claims. I know a guy who did a before and after 3 week herbalife transformation and claimed to lose 2kg of fat. What really happened was he took the before on a bloated stomach and with poor lighting while slouching his posture and the after on an empty stomach, tensing abs, shoulders back and good lighting. His friend sold the product and used him to show his "results". I think it is a poor product and there are so many better priced and more effective products on the market.

Yea its one of my mates selling it and i did not even pay for this tub, i dont think i could use it everyday like the usual protein i use as its very sweet...

Would love to know who is actually buying this 24 range so as its so flipping expensive, as discuss said 2.5 times more...

I think ill use the tub through and leave it at that...

There is a lot of controversy around herbalife, namely that it's an elaborate pyramid scheme (which would explain the high cost):

But also, that some of it's products have been linked to liver disease:

Might be an idea to research it yourself and see what you think.

I'd say i can count about 20 middle aged overweight women in work that take herbalife products with their scone and coffee every morning.....im not sure if thats their market...but damn it seems to sell to that particular group!!

Its not protein, its mainly carbs/sugar. Looks like junk tbh.

I didn't find it smart assed - its expensive because people will pay that much for it. There's nothing in it to justify the price.

Well a smart ass to me is someone that answers none of the questions and gives no info on the topic...

And thats all i wanted to know, overpriced junk is good enough for me... Its ridiculous how expensive it is to be honest and the taste does not suit me... Used it twice and ill pass it on to someone else now...

    Thanks
