www.teamer.net sms problem in Australia

    Hi,

I have been unable to reply to teamer.net notifications via sms. I get an insufficient funds error (despite having sufficient funds). My teammate is experiencing the same. This worked fine in Ireland. I'm now in Melbourne on a prepaid vodafone mobile plan.

Anyone know if this facility is available outside Ireland or if there is some trick to making it work?

    Thanks

    Thanks biko,

I know that everyone on the team will have a phone but maybe not a smart phone so sms would be preferable to an app.

I didn't see any mention of countries/operators etc. where the sms facility would not be available when creating the team. Each member is able to receive the sms's but cannot reply for some reason.

According to their FAQ it should work in Oz

At the moment, text messaging is supported in Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, India and South Africa.
Was it ever working for you in Oz?

Nope, it hasn't worked in Australia so far. I contacted www.teamer.net did but they told me to take it up with www.vodafone.com.au. I'm awaiting their response.
