Joints clicking

    Hey all.

I would do fairly heavy lifting in the gym (squats, deadlifts etc...) and some training taken from the New Rules of Lifting for Women. I have found the past few days my shoulders, particularly my left, is clicking a lot with slight movement. Some other joints too.

Just wondering has anyone encountered this before? No pain, I might add.
(also I'm a female btw, if that matters!)

see a physio if you are worried about it but joints can crack the same was as knuckles do, usually nothing to worry about if there is no pain.

One thing to note, in my case, i had slightly rounded shoulders ( desk job ) I found that lifting's straightened all that out now, altho i do have cartilage damage in both shoulders, they click like crazy at times....

As suggested run it past a physio, a decent physio ! if it's not painful, it might not be serious

I am the same my knees are forever clicking especially at the start but less so now . When i started lifting i had to work hard on building up my knees etc and did a lot of just body weight squatting and very slowly moved up the weight . Spoke to a physio in work about it but she said nothing to be concerned about in my case . Happens less often now for some reason i also get the trainers at the gym to check my form often to be sure its ok.
