HELP Broom 37 Crown

Hello all,

I'm looking for a bit of help with a boat

To cut a long story short, I’m trying to help someone to get their Broom 37Crown up and running for the start of the season.

I'm fairly new to boats but handy enough with the basics

I've been online looking for an owner’s manual or a technical manual orwiring diagram for this model of boat and can't find anything

If anyone knows where or if such manuals are available, I be very grateful

Welcome and nice boat, I will have a look around but you might be better off asking on the Broom owners club http://www.broomowners.com/gallery/discontinued-models/37-crown
Is there anything in particular you need to do as it might be easier to do it in stages like one wiring diagram for the engines and another for the electronics.


Ps what year is it and what engines does she have.

Was looking at the Brooms owner club, an interesting website..

The list of jobs that need doing are longer than anyone should have, but thats half the fun of boating

But there is nothing particular that I'm looking at.

I have her up and running and she is not going too bad, but due to several previous owners adding and remoing various bits of equipment (nothing against that) its becoming harder to find what is orginial and what is not.

I'm hoping that if I can find owner manuals / wiring manuals etc, i'll have a good base to start from to better solve the problems as their arise.

For example, the wipers stopped working, but due to the amount of removed equipment and wires just left behind, it took forever to solve a fairly straight problem.

Any help is welcome

The owners club have some manuals but you have to be a member to get them:rolleyes:

Has she got the Ford lehman engines or the newer volvo's

I say she is late 70's early 80's.
I'm here most day's so if you want to work one job at a time I will try and help out. I'm on the wine now so not much help to anyone :pac:
