Pirate in County Sligo. On and off for some years now. Most of the time only over the weekend.
Reported many times in this forum.

Radio Sovereign (different one to DAB) is on 1494kHz in Dundalk for the last year or so.
Relays Caroline North on MW weekends too

Why does Phever Facebook live programs keep going on and off all the time? Has this anything to do with copyright infringement? It’s a total waste of time broadcasting this way can get very frustrating for listeners who like this brand of music

Is this connected to The Beach or RetroNow or is this a third station on the same frequency??

While I am on, All 80s was on 94.3 last night. Earlier that evening, I also briefly heard a station without an RDS on 92.0 playing a Richie Kavanagh song before disappearing!

The two pirates are on now on 1494 kHz. The one in Dundalk with old pirate recordings, and the one in Sligo relaying Coast FM from Tenerife. I am hearing that one on the SDR in the North West, and Coast is marked as the station name.

Software defined radio. Some hobbyists are kind enough to make theirs available as remote receivers which anyone can tune from anywhere. Long, Medium and Short Wave. This is the link to the one in Sligo.

There are lots of them all round the world. It is the same as tuning an actual radio in California or Norway or wherever. Not the same thing as internet radio.

The Dundalk station is relaying Radio Caroline. Which they usually do when Manx Radio have their Caroline weekends.

adds like that would generally be carried across a couple of stations. the rozalla 1 at least.
102.5 kiss fm's facebook seems to have gone however so perhapse they are no more?

No connection seperate operations completely. As for the ad, several stations have had that ad on obviously whoever is running the event has been in touch with different people to get more advertising.
