Would love donaldson to win, class guy.
Although I would feel sorry for Dubisson

He could be a Ryder cup player the way he is going.

is it me, or does it seem that there is a seriously high percentage compared to normal of 15, 20 foot putts rolling in !

That ace by Donaldson was a thing of beauty, just perfect.

Great to see such a mix at the top, ET stalwarts Dubuisson, Donaldson and Jacquelin battling it out with Euro Ryder Cup stars Rose and Poulter and Tiger not dead yet. It's a pity there isn't 4 or 5 more Euro tournaments like this.

Somebody - maybe Poulter said there "it is the Ryder Cup."

Maybe a fan at tee box.

    Balls from Donaldson.

Tiger can not drive ........ End of.

    yup, your're right,
which makes it even more unreal how he's lurking about after such shocking driving.

It's what's killing him in the majors, he doesn't trust his driver under pressure. Only so many spectacular recoveries you can get away with

This looks over - safe par.

Surely there's no way debuisson is attacking this green!

Depends if he has looked at leaderboard - why did he drive off tee

His caddy should be stepping in

Did he pick caddy up this week - they are not talking much. Doubt it.

Looking at it there , it almost cost him already- very close to left ditch.

I don't blame him for taking driver,
he's was so comfortable with it all week, and has made very little error.
    Right decision IMO.

In trouble there but. Should be ok - he was lucky there real - what was wrong with 5 iron 5 iron par. He'd get a par 90 % of the time.

In hindsight it's the right decision but such a narrow fairway there it was dangerous. He was lucky with his lie in the rough there. He only needed a 5 to win so no need to try burst a drive the way he did.

    Great second shot from him.

nothing wrong with 5 iron off the tee,
but it's something different, something he hasn't done all week.
Why do that, if he's had driver all week, and performed so well with it.

Out of the two choices, I'd go with the one that I'm comfortable, and familiar with.

What about the plonker who tried to spray champers on him but when he ran onto the green cheering he couldn't pop the cork lol

That's standard practice when a French player wins on tour. The other French players run onto the green spraying champagne at the winner. Bit of craic!

Yeah I know I've no issue at all with it. I was just laughing at the fact the guy ran on and then couldn't pop it. Bit of an anti climax until another fella came in with a second bottle opened

Not much talk about the Race To Dubai this week:

Solid -1 rounds for McIlroy and Lowry, both tied 14th currently, GMAC +1 thru 7!

Martin Kaymer looks to be finding some form!

If the interest on here is anything to go by, then the Euro Tour have a big problem on their hands.

APHIBARNRAT off to a flyer today, would love to see him over in the US next year (I suppose that attitude isn't helping the Tour)
Always happy to see Jimenez at the top of a leaderboard.... if we can believe it.

Daddy Day Care duties don't seem half as bad when you have live golf on the tv

Rory back in the mix after going birdie eagle just now

Aphinbarnrat is going to be a huge star I reckon and is on a steady rise after getting his first win earlier this year. A good result this week would get him into the Top 50.

As you say MAJ is in the mix and at No 53 in the world needs a Top-5 here I reckon to be guaranteed Top 50 at the end of the year to get into the Masters. I know this might sound mad but I just think he is getting better with age! How is he competing on these monster courses?

Ross Fisher had 2 eagles:eek: today on his way to a 64!!

It has been great watching Miguel playing so well this year. If he keeps this form up, being a potential vice captain for next year's Ryder Cup will be out of the question because he will be playing! :D

That famous pre round stretching that was the highlight of the British Open a few years ago might be a factor :)
