    Hi,

I signed up for Westwood Clontarf 4 months ago and have yet to visit the place once!

If anyone is interested taking over my membership to avoid the joining fees let me know.

    Thanks
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

I'm really interested in joining this gym....and am definitely interested in taking over your membership.

Could you let me know if the shower cubicles are private or communal? Also, does your membership cover use of the tennis courts?!

    Cheers!

Not the OP but can answer your question

The showers are private in the sense that you have your own cubicle with a door that's blurred. Theres about 18 cubicles.

Dressing room is communal but the bathroom has 6 or 7 stalls that you can use

I'm pretty sure all memberships cover the tennis aspect but you need to join the tennis club itself to play tournaments and leagues. Think it's an extra 250 for that. But you can go down book a court and play with a friend

Thanks for that RomanGod....so just to clarify, there is no online booking system for the courts? Could you also let me know if it's possible to have a membership for the tennis club only???

    Much appreciated!

No I think you just go down to the courts and book it, or call one of the coaches before heading down. They usually tell you when classes are on

My friend was just a member of the tennis club and never signed up for the gym facilities. Got it for a pretty good deal. You may have to join Westwood altogether to use the tennis courts now though. I'd say they had problems with people sneaking into the gym. But they have a cheap off peak gym package

Sorry it's been a while since I actually used the tennis courts so they could have changed the system a bit.

Probably best to pop down some day and have a look yourself
