    I'm going to be starting a bulk soon. I've been working out for about a year - a year and a half but have been cutting fat for most that with a short bulk in between making some n00b gains...
    Are there any benefits of dirty bulking over clean bulking ??
    How long should I bulk for before I start cutting ??
    Is working a body part two times a week too much...
    Day 1
    Chest
    Bench Press
    Incline Press
    Pullovers
    Back
    Chin-ups
    Bent-Over Rows


    Day 2
    Shoulders
    Barbell Clean and Press
    Dumbbell Lateral Raise
    Power Training
    Heavy Upright Rows
    Push Press
    Upper Arms - Biceps and Triceps
    Standing Barbell Curls
    Seated Dumbbell Curls
    Close-Grip Press
    Standing Triceps Extensions with Barbell


    Day 3

    Wed - Day 3 - Legs and Lower Back

    Legs
    Squats
    Lunges
    Leg Curls
    Calves
    Standing Calve Raises
    Lower Back
    Straight Leg Dead-Lift
    Good Mornings


    Rinse and repeat with Sunday off

    Minimum bulk IMO should be 6-9 months. It really depends though on progress and fat gain. If I were you I wouldn't pigeon hole yourself as on a bulk. Just eat well and fairly clean and grow! Don't dirty bulk.

    6 days a week is a lot also. Couple of points. You have two back exercises on day 1. You have 4 arm exercises on day two. Look at the size of your arms in comparison to your back? Likewise you have an entire day for shoulders ands arms and an entire day for legs and lower back? Your legs are half your body!

    Really depends on how much volume and the intensity. With adequate nutrition 6 days is possible. Try it out. Arnie was a pro on copious amounts of assistance!

    1. No. 'Dirty bulking' is an excuse for morons to eat what they want while pretending to be healthy. Eat decent food and don't just gorge on everything, unless you're taking drugs then it's not going to be beneficial for you to just gorge like a fat bastard because, as one would expect, you'll just end up like a fat bastard.

    2. Up to you. Bulk slowly, there's no point in trying to accelerate the process and adding copious amounts of fat in the process. If you get to a point where you think your body fat is too high then cut. If you bulk well you may not feel the need to cut.


    2 days on 1 day off is fine regarding your last post.
