Spent the night teaching Robbie Savage to play poker (shameless brag) and he kept asking me why I looked so stressed. Looked at the TV and says "I'm guessing you don't have RVP in your FF team"

I had 10 DGW players last week and ended up with 79 points. thanks to getting Bale and and hungry Suarez i ended up with 96 this week

RVP captain . guy on top of my main league got 60 so closed up 36 points to within 20 . game on!!!

Another piss poor GW. 44 and dropped 35k places to 75k. Normally finish fpl seasons well too

Other than few major hiccups, ie not having RVP this week, my main problem this year has been captaincy. Less than half the time I've got it right, 18 to 16. I'd still be in with a shout in my mini leagues otherwise

Although a lock in the night before I left Ireland followed by a horribly hungover day travelling meant I missed transfers for the DGW 33 which totally f*cked me. The guy behind me in my money league closed the 90 point gap to 40. I'll be raging with myself if he takes it as I've been leading pretty much since the start of the league.

84 in the end. Up 500 odd places to 6,055 worldwide. My 4pt hit to do Carzola & Girord > RVP and Maloney paid off handsomely.

Just outside the top 2000.

123 points ahead in one minileague with 4 games to go means that's wrapped out.

Third in one money league (three paid) but 8th in the Boards paid league. I think my flirtation with that is over. Most people ahead of me in these leagues have already made 2 transfers and I'd wager that many have done Suarez and Cazorla to Tevez and Bale.

My only hope is that I have 7 DGW right now.

Ha, I had RVP as captain but still finished the night 16 places lower than I was before the match! I have had no Utd defensive cover which has killed me the last few weeks, kept meaning to get DDG in but other transfer's always took piority, now in 1400ish and my aim of breaking into the top 1000 is still a long way off, I was sure I would do it last night!

Might not be a bad idea!

Not bringing in De Gea a month ago has really hurt me. What makes it worse is that I'm a big DDG fan, but much like the Celtic Tiger, I thought Bunn's miracle run of penalty saves and clean sheets could never end.

I think if we were to do it the 550 each option is better. It leaves something to play for in the last few weeks.

We'd have to run any potential deal by the lads in the other thread. There's also of course the risk that one or both of us gets overtaken. It's unlikely, but one lucky captaincy bink can make up huge ground in the game.

Will see where I finish up but not too bothered. Have had a poor season IMO. Dropping RVP for his purple patch earlier in the season cost me.
