    Thought this type of thread might be handy for people who are looking for yummy home made foods/shakes etc.. I know paddywiggum posted a shake in a thread and I'll copy that over here later. I tried to make my own one today, wasn't too bad actually.

    Mine consisted of;

    Frozen strawberries- a handful or so. Didn't measure these.
    100g peanut butter 596kcals
    500ml milk- full fat 330kcals
    50g whey protein. 217kcals

    Total; 1143kcals

    Not highest kcal weight gainer but its definitely better for you rather than buying some sugar filled crap off the shelf.

    I think this would be a good thread if it had a steady flow of recipes so keep em' coming:D

    Suppose you could call this a dessert.

    300g Greek yogurt.
    2 scoops protein - I use strawberry
    75g almonds.

    Works out just over 1000 cals.

    It's lovely, very easy to digest and don't feel stuffed after it. I tried it with chocolate protein but think the strawberry is a lot nicer.

    Has anyone tried making these shakes in advance and having them during the day ? Or make them the night before ?

    Would there be much separation ? If so would a quick shake up sort it out ?
