Original Xbox Component > converter > HDMI = Possible?

    Sorry for the ridiculous details and the potential fact I may be in the wrong section of the forum.

    I have an original Xbox with a component cable.

    I'm about to purchase a Component (YPbPr) to HDMI converter like this one http://www.port-ta.com/upload1/dttech,Portta_et/HDMI%20Converter/PETRH/PETRH-2.jpg
    ..in order for me to play it on my screen which only has HDMI output. Would it work?

    Hi Gamerfc,

    Yes is should work however there is an issue that you would need to get around.

    The Component (YPbPr) cables for the original xbox were never sold in Europe to my knowledge so they would either be 3rd party cables or US ones.

    The European xbox software never got updated to support it, so you would need either a modded (hard or soft) and a piece of software called Enigmah.
