Formatting images while using Markdown

I thought myself a bit of Markdown to make it easier and quicker for to write blog posts. I use Wordpress and I installed WP-Markdown plugin.

Markdown is handy for formatting my posts but, with the plugin installed, I can't resize my images easily using the Wordpress WYSIWYG editor. I've to change the dimensions manually in the HTML link. This means a lot of trial and error as my images are various dimensions.

    Is there an easier way?

    Thanks for the help.

PS Which is better, ragged text or justified?
