Question re Bile Level in Blood Test

Hi. I've recently had a check up with blood work by my GP. When checked, I was told my cholesterol is 5.8, which I'm gonna work on to get down. I was also told that my bile levels were slightly high but not to worry, it wasn't significant and might be due to recently having a head cold or something. Being a worrier, I googled it and it's to do with liver. Should I be worried and have it rechecked? My background if it helps - 40 yr old male, a little overweight but am losing weight and been running 5k and 10k for a yr. Blood pressure was excellent. Ive had no symptoms of any liver problems - no pain, no yellow skin or eyes, urine and bowel movements all normal. Any advice please???
