    Hi,

For the summer, I'm organising a group fitness session just to keep a few of us in shape in the off season.

Was wondering if people had any thoughts on what I have planned.
More of one thing, less of another, etc...

    Boxing pads (40 secs on / 20 secs off) x 5
    300M shuttles (10 x 2, 20 x 2, 30 x 2, 40 x 3, 50 x 2) x 3
(Crab run with small tyre pushing it along ground (10M x 2) then large tyre lips x 4) x 5
    1.5k run

Goal is general fitness, not looking to focus of any one area.

    Cheers

for me there's no enough heavy stuff in there, if you have enough of those small tyres you could use them for squats, overhead lunges, drag them along.

Some parks have bars that you could use for pull\chin ups and dips. Add in
more body weight stuff press ups, burpees, etc.

your options are endless so be sure and vary it up every session.

cheers, we're real amateurs so equipment is limited.
think the small tyres are 12/13" ones, wouldn't weight that much I think.

dragging the big tyres might be an option, can feel the burning thighs already!

    (burpees x 20, squats x 20, pushups x 20, plank for 30) x 3/4/5 something we could do?

anything with 5 rounds of 20 burpees is nasty (nasty = good) :pac::pac::pac::pac:

Yeah you can do I, working similar body parts in the movements so I won’t do it a few times a week, 5 rounds for the average Joe is going to be tough. Key is mix it up every session.

As you say your amateurs it would be worth having someone give you a session on the movements you are planning to do to get your form right. Remember warm up and stretch before and after.

I think there's a bodyweight workout/metcon thread on here somewhere!
    That'd be a good start.

You can always by some trx's, rings or make your own like blast straps.
Get some sledgehammers for the tyres. Kettlebells would be relatively inexpensive for a group!
