Irish Lifting Question

The week before Easter I purchased an Olympic Weight Set from Irish Lifting, here:

    http://www.irish-lifting.com/140kg-olympic-set-pe-259.html

Now when I bought it there was a note to say it wasn't in stock at the moment but would be dispatched as soon as possible. Because of this and the fact that the bank holiday weekend was coming up, I wasn't expecting to get them any time soon.

Now I've also bought things from other weight lifting sites before so I realise that they all seem to keep contact to a minimum but it's two weeks later now (12 working days) and there's been nothing since the Order Process e-mail.

I'm just wondering, is this something to be worrying about? Should I expect my order anytime soon?

Try using the telephone to talk to a real person involved with the company rather than asking on an anonymous Internet forum.

But I'm afraid of real people.

Like I said, I was just hoping someone could tell if this was normal or not instead of going to the trouble of calling them. I was on the forum anyway and I was hoping to get an answer before tomorrow. Looks like sarcastic comments are all I'll get. Sound.

    Hi,

I own Irish Lifting, sorry about the delay, I was out of 7ft bars when you ordered but they are on the way and should be here early next week and then I'll get your order out asap...

You think Mickk wouldn't have answered the phone if he rang?

    Is Mick back running it?

I've heard nothing but bad things about 2 other guys who were running it, close friends had awful trouble getting the items they ordered and then had bigger trouble getting their money back, took months in one case.

I've heard Mick ran it very well before and if he's running it now I'd be very happy to order from them

He sure is. And he's just opened a new gym. And is opening another one. And seems to have a few extra hours in the day most people don't have. Or just doesn't sleep. The bastard.

Hardly necessary bring this back. He's probably right, I just didn't realise how good the customer service was at Irish Lifting.

Also, there's the whole being scared of real people thing.

This thread seems to be a good advertisement for this business. He seems to take a proffesional yet friendly approach. Fair play Mick!

    Hi gang,

New to boards.ie so apologies if I'm asking a question thats already been answered. I have a heavy Power Rack bought from Irish Lifting with the Lat Pulldown/Low Pully attachment on the back. The standard set up for this Lat Pulldown/Low Pully Attachment is to use olympic weights to dictate how much weight you want on. My question is, has anyway adapted it so as a weight stack can be incorporated instead or is this even possible......

    Thanks in advance!!!!!

To be honest man I'm not actually sure because when I got it I bought a weight set and a few other things at the same time. Your better off to give Mick a ring anyway and he'll give ya the full info on it and to be fair he's always very well priced.... Great piece of kit though!!!!
