Pass in maths needed for Arts?

    Hi there,
    L.C student here! Just wondering is maths needed for Arts in NUIG? Just wondering because I've heard that you can study arts even if you fail maths in the L.C,

    What the website says - http://www.nuigalway.ie/courses/undergraduate-courses/arts.html
    Minimum Grade HC3 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at H or O Level in the Leaving Certificate, including: Irish, English, another language, and three other subjects recognised for entry purposes.

    However, I would strongly advise passing Math due to the fact that employers sometimes look for your leaving results :/
