Can anyone guess the quantities of ingredients that go into Wag***ma’s (not sure I were allowed to mention restaurant names) dipping sauce. It is typically served with their meat or vegetable dumplings. Online the sauce ingredients are listed as: chilli, garlic, sesame and soya sauce.

Ooh that sauce is scrumptious, isn't it? To make half a cup do this:

    100ml light soy sauce
    35ml malt vinegar
    10g sugar
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
Half a red chile, deseeded and finely chopped
1 small garlic clove, finely chopped

    Directions:

    1. Put the sugar and vinegar in pan over a low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

    2. Mash the garlic and chili together with a sprinkling of salt until it forms a paste.

    3. Combine all the ingredients together, give a good mix and serve up when cooled.

Definitely, I could drink the stuff! YUM.
Thanks so much for the recipe :)
