    Hi All.
I recently returned from Australia and trying to get my head around the new regulations as I have a planning application to do on a large existing detached house. The owners want to extend it and change much of it around e.g. move entrance door and stairs around, a new kitchen and conservatory to rear and side.
The existing area will increases by approximately 36sqm meters (new construction.)
My question is do I need to comply with the Part L 2011 EPC and CPC ?

    Thanks

No . You will need to comply with max area of glazing , min new boiler rating and max U Values for new elements.
