Can anyone recommend a holder for an iPhone 4 for gym work. Have the arm band thing but when I'm lifting or working on arms the velcro opens and phone falls. Is there like a necklace or belt clip that is available or what do you guys use?

    Thanks

don'tbe annoying. not all gym shorts come with pockets, i have a few Nike shorts without any.
Besides if you're doing circuits that involve a variety of exercises it becomes annoying to have to swap where you store your phone.

OP i have never used them but Nike and others have a forearm holder. It could help you out

I'm not being annoying. I use a pocket. I looked at various gizmos, but none worked better than a pocket. True, not all gym wear comes with pockets. I select those that do. Does your high horse saddle come with a pocket?

Then stop buying gym shorts without pockets. Problem solved.

Yep, life really is a bitch.

I bought this exact marathon belt in Tesco - don't know if they have it in stock anymore.

Basically it exactly fits an iphone and change/other bits if you want. I used to carry the phone in the pocket but it used to annoy me or fall out. Had an armband too and it was more of a pain in the arse than anything.

I very nearly dropped a 35kg dumbell on my phone when I was chest pressing and the phone fell onto the floor unbeknown to me. I missed it by pure fluke.

I have been meaning to look for one two but I don't fancy having it around my upper arms as some of them are. Around the waste might be uncomfortable too.

Might check out ebay for the Nike forearm one - should get a knockoff there !
