Hi everyone. I'm wondering if it's safe to take both these with these daily? Or should I take them on alternate days?

both are not get picks tbh

would shoot for this - http://www.iherb.com/Natural-Factors-RxOmega-3-Factors-EPA-400-mg-DHA-200-mg-240-Softgels/4251

    and

    this - http://www.iherb.com/Super-Nutrition-Perfect-Family-Energizing-Multi-Vitamin-240-Veggie-Tabs/3220

Quality is far better and yes take both daily

both will last you 2-3 months

Whats the latest opinion on taking fish oils?

Nearly everywhere I have read and heard encourages taking them but I saw on of the experts in here saying that recent studies have shown little benefit in the long term?

I get mine from iherb and take them as a liquid whenever possible with the capsules for when I am on the go or whatever.

i think it really depends on how 'healthy' you are -

if you're eating really clean (paleo/primal and upping safe starches on higher activity days) and exercising regularly then just eating fish might cover it. Otherwise it would be wise to take a dose daily.

Personally think digestive enzymes and probiotics can have a more powerful effect when combined with proper training (metcons and strength work, little endurance) and an lets say ancestral approach to nutrition.

What is your opinion of the orange triad multivitamin? Thanks

    Re the chia seeds -

its just a form Alpha ALA (like whats in flax seeds) which then has to be converted into EPA and DHA (your body doesnt do a very good job of this) which you are getting directly from fish oil.

Fine to throw into stuff but a fart against a hurricane when comparing EPA and DHA levels consumed

its 6 tabs a day for those orange triad.

Yes the one i recommended was 4 tabs a day and some days i just take 2 because they are so bloody big.

Seems a solid supplement - citrate form used on most or chelated.

Thanks for the input. I don't like fish at all but would like to get the health benefits attributed to it and also incorporate a good multi vitamin in to my daily routine. A quick Google search also garnered very good feedback for the site you linked to. Thanks again :)

Hi, definitely think fish oils are really important to take daily. They are best digested in the morning taken with food as your digestive system is at it's optimum then. The important thing is to make sure they are of good quality as cheap brands may not be tested for purity and could contain traces of mercury and PCBS. I use this one http://iherb.com/p/2717?rcode=jik527 and get it from iHerb. It has really high levels of EPA and DHA so you dont need to take as many as a lot of other brands. Even one a day provides a good maintenance dose but I take two a day myself as they really help my wonky knees

    hey Transform,

Just wondering what your opinion is on the poliquin supplements in general?
    Zinc, HCL and magnesium etc.
Also I have being using Primal Fiber as a fiber supplement.
Do you believe in cycling your fibre on a weekly basis?
    Psyillium husk, inuilin etc?

    Cheers,
    Colman
